Third Disney crew member arrested this year for possession of CSAM
A Disney Cruise Line crew member was arrested for possession of child sex abuse materials.
Tirso Anthony Neri, 44 was charged with possession and transportation of CSAM.
He is the third Disney crew member charged with possession of child porn in South Florida this year.
Neri was arrested after a search of his cabin by Homeland Security Investigations and CBP officers.
They seized two smartphones from Neri.
According to the unsealed indictment the devices contained ‘numerous sexually explicit photos and videos of young children whose age could not be definitely determined.’
Under questioning, Neri admitted downloading adult content from chat groups but claimed he was unaware it included child sexual abuse material.
Neri was arrested back in December and is being held in the Broward Main Jail.
“In accordance with our zero-tolerance policy for this kind of alleged behavior, this individual is no longer with the company,” Disney Cruise Line said.
Neri is the third Disney crew member indicted this year for CSAM possession.
Other cases are ongoing against Alvin Gonzales, 49, and Amiel Trazo, 28.
All three are Philippine nationals.
