Thomas Cook moves to new offices

Thomas Cook is to open new premises in Lynch Wood, Peterborough, on Monday.
It hopes the new offices, called Westpoint, will bring a ‘marked improvement to the comfort and team spirit’ of its existing 1,200 employees and future staff.
Thomas Cook is currently based at offices in Coningsby Road, Bretton, a series of buildings which it owns and where it has been for 20 years.
In Coningsby Road, staff are separated into different units but in the new premises everyone will be together, spread over three floors.
The group, which celebrates its 175th birthday this year, said it continues to review options for the old site.
It said the move to the new offices, owned by Westmount Real Estate, demonstrates the significant investment the company is making in the future of its business in Peterborough.
"The modern, high-quality space that has been created is set to reinvigorate the working environment for employees and provides a clean, modern infrastructure complete with the latest technology," it said.
The offices have wi-fi throughout, an auditorium and electric car charging points.
Managing director UK and Ireland Chris Mottershead added: "Thomas Cook has been a leading employer in Peterborough for 43 years, and we are here for the long term.
"We are very proud of our new premises and we are confident that it will bring a marked improvement to the comfort and team spirit of our current and future employees. We will continue to offer our customers great holidays for decades to come."
