Thomson opens third next generation store
Thomson has opened its third next generation store in Bristol.
The store, in Broadmead, comes after successful openings in Bluewater Shopping Centre and in Liverpool last month.
Set over 850 square feet, the store features some of the latest retail innovations including an 84-inch touch screen interactive map and interactive tables designed to inspire and entertain customers whilst they research their holidays.
High definition screens and projections around the store feature changing images and videos and let customers view top 10 lists and live weather information, read reviews and view videos of destinations.
Social media feeds will be streamed onto the screens, or customers can choose to browse on their own devices or with staff in the pool area.
They can self-serve on the customer computer at the Advice Bar, where staff will be on hand to answer questions, or have a more personalised experience in the booths.
Director of retail for TUI UK & Ireland Kathryn Ward said: "The opening of our third holiday design store today is very exciting for the business and demonstrates our commitment to developing the next generation of our retail network.
"Our first two stores at Bluewater Shopping Centre and in Liverpool have proved to be a huge success and it’s great to be able to offer this unique service to our customers in the Bristol area."
