Tour operator drops Zimbabwe from itineraries
Cape Town-based tour operator, Camp Wild Adventure Tours and Safaris, has announced that it will no longer run its safari programme to include Zimbabwe.
Director, Garth Jenman, said due to the political instability and concerns of potential clients, the company had to adjust its itineraries slightly.
Victoria Falls on the Zambian side will remain the climax of the tour operator’s ‘northern experience’ and will be the starting point for the ‘southern experience’.
“Livingstone in Zambia will be our final destination and departure point from now on. You still get the mighty Falls, only from a different angle,” said Mr Jenman.
The company’s new website: www.campwild.co.za, provides a more descriptive overview of various itineraries, general information on the countries covered in the tours and practical preparation information.
