Tourism Solomons launches new agent training program
Tourism Solomons has launched a new ‘Hapi Isles’ specialist online travel agent training program.
Accessible on Tourism Solomons’ website the new program has been designed to equip travel agents with the knowledge and expertise needed to promote the Solomon Islands as a key South Pacific destination.
Agents can register for the training at Tourism Solomons Agent Training Program.
The program consists of engaging modules covering the Solomon Islands’ ‘living’ culture, WWII history, diving, fishing and surfing as well as its natural environment.
To celebrate the launch Tourism Solomons is offering the chance to win one of eight $100 prepaid Visa Cards as an incentive.
Agents need to complete the modules before 30 August to automatically gain access to the draw.
Tourism Solomons Head of Sales & Marketing, Fiona Teama said the mission is to educate as many agents as possible.
“Our 992-island archipelago offers an authentic and unforgettable travel experience,” she said.
“Via this new program, Tourism Solomons aims to educate travel agents, positioning it as an alternative South Pacific destination for their clients.”
