TQ3 CELEBRATES 3RD BIRTHDAY BY ANNOUNCING TRIPLE CLIENT INNOVATION

Monday, 08 Apr, 2004 0

3 February 2004, London, UK – TQ3 Travel Solutions, one of the leading global travel management companies, is pleased to announce the worldwide launch of three pioneering client initiatives at the Business Travel Show 2004. With the unveiling of two world exclusive projects: Advito and the results of a Mobility Benchmarking Study, alongside a new global corporate card agreement with American Express, TQ3 continues to reinvigorate the travel management landscape three years after it came onto the scene. Since its global launch at the Business Travel Show in February 2001, TQ3 has increased its operating network to over 70 countries, established itself as the number one Travel Management Company in Europe, third worldwide, and won over €1 billion in multinational accounts – €400 million in the last 12 months alone. Toby Joseph, chief operating officer of TQ3 Travel Solutions, commented: “With these accomplishments, we have not only developed our organisation with globalisation firmly in mind, we have positioned TQ3 as a major force in the market. We have also recognised the need to diversify into other travel related fields in order to provide our customers with those rare commodities: value and innovation.” To build upon an outstanding foundation, TQ3 is using this year’s BT Show to reveal three new initiatives designed to equal savings and increased efficiency for our valued clients and continued success for TQ3 on a global level. Advito, the first innovation being launched, is the first major collaboration between a global travel management company and a leading consulting firm, formed through an exclusive strategic partnership between TQ3 and professional services firm Deloitte. Advito will offer comprehensive advisory, technology and outsourcing services combined with a breadth of service, global presence and range of expertise never before seen in travel and expense management. The second innovation comes courtesy of TQ3 Mobility Solutions, a division of TQ3 Travel Solutions, which has completed the first-ever worldwide benchmarking study on mobility costs and processes within larger companies. The three-month-long survey of 60 major multinational companies, reveals that mobile employees (employees spending more than 25% of their working time out of their fixed office) now represent an average of 28% of the workforce and is set to increase over the next three years. The study also indicated that although businesses demand increased mobility from their employees, their productivity is decreasing. TQ3 Mobility Solutions will act as a single-point consolidator of traditional expenses such as air, car, hotel and video conferencing, with mobility costs, such as car fleet management, mobile communication, relocation services, insurance, cash and payment systems and mobile offices. Uniting the two outlay areas will improve productivity whilst saving clients hundreds of millions of euros every year. And finally, TQ3 customers will gain improved control over their travel related expenditure, as the company has signed an agreement to distribute the American Express Global Corporate Card and Business Card in more than 20 countries. The two companies have also launched two co-branded corporate card payment products in Germany. Through this accord, TQ3 Travel Solutions will be able to answer more effectively the demands of its customers who are searching for a global card product, allowing them to make optimal use of TQ3’s outstanding and fully integrated travel management solutions. – ENDS – Notes to Editors About TQ3 Travel Solutions TQ3 Travel Solutions is the leading provider of quality, innovative travel expense management solutions to companies worldwide.
