TQ3 Travel Solutions extends global reach to over 90 countries
15 August 2005, London, UK – TQ3 Travel Solutions, one of the leading global travel management companies (TMC), has reached another milestone since its rapid rise to becoming a world leading TMC. In just over four short years, as a result of active and sustained investment, TQ3 has created a robust and comprehensive global network spanning over 90 countries.
Hot off the heels of its strategic acquisitions in Australia (SYNERGI Travel Australia Pty Ltd), New Zealand (SYNERGI Travel New Zealand Ltd), India (ETI Travel Solutions) and Mexico (Koch Overseas de Mexico) at the beginning of the year, TQ3 has made significant inroads into other strategically important markets – most notably Iran, through the recent signing of a licensee agreement with East Express Company Limited. TQ3 can now claim to be the only global TMC with a commercial presence there. This local presence will particularly be of added value to businesses in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries that have dealings within the Persian Gulf.
With increasing numbers of leading multinational corporations continuing down the road of global expansion, TQ3 is pursuing its own programme of strategic growth to meet their T&E management demands. Its market leading position in Europe and the US, combined with continued investment and focus in the Asia Pacific and Latin American markets, means that it is now better positioned than ever before to deliver its proven travel and expense management solutions to national and multinational customers throughout every established and emerging market across the globe.
“Not only do we want to have ownership in key markets and solid foundations in emerging markets, we also want corporations to experience the same level of consistently high customer service no matter where in the world they interact with TQ3,” comments Toby Joseph, TQ3’s Global Chief Operating Officer. “With our extended network, multinational companies will be able to take advantage of our extensive grass roots knowledge of each market and SMEs will be able to tap into our proven global resources to maximise the return on their travel investment.”
TQ3 is already seeing the benefits of its enhanced network through a series of new major global business gains, which has topped USD$600 million since the beginning of 2005 – launching its system-wide revenues past the USD$12 billion mark. This latest milestone will ensure that TQ3 continues to gain strength and opportunities to service its existing customers and win new accounts.
“Although this is very exciting and good news for TQ3, our day to day business of working hard for each other and our customers will not change. We continue to work in the same diligent manner as we have done since day one, delivering superior service,” says Joseph. “This latest development just means that we are now better positioned than ever before to take on the future challenges in our dynamic and competitive market.”
Online or offline, for SMEs, mid market or large multinationals, TQ3 remains committed to optimising the entire travel process for its customers wherever they conduct business – now and in the future.
