Travel Counsellors recruits record number of new business owners
This year, Travel Counsellors has already surpassed last year’s total of new business owners recruited.
It represents a 25% increase year on year.
In addition, since its new financial year started in November 2022, Travel Counsellors has seen over 200 new business owners join.
One-third of these are new franchisees returning to the travel industry post pandemic.
This week alone has seen 14 new TCs join.
These include those from luxury tour operators, corporate travel and those who have previously been TC assistants.
Travel Counsellors has also seen a sharp rise in the business travel sector with over 20 new corporate travel specialists.
More Travel Counsellors than ever are now selling business travel with nearly 350 in the UK alone.
Matt Harding, Travel Counsellors GM, said: “It’s brilliant to see the record number of new Travel Counsellors as travel continues to boom.”
“To continue to achieve our record growth we need to ensure we are recruiting the highest calibre talent for both leisure and business travel.”
