TTNG unveils new front end and back office system
The Travel Network Group has unveiled a new retail front end and back office system, due to be available for its members from early next year.
Developed by an in-house team at The Travel Network Group, in conjunction with TravelTek, it will replace the existing system run by TravelCat.
After more than 12 months’ development it is now undergoing rigorous testing across TTNG’s seven owned stores.
Early in the new yearmembers of Worldchoice Plus, the group’s managed proposition, will initially be given access to the technology, followed by members of TTA and Worldchoice respectively.
CEO Gary Lewis said: "We announced that IT would represent our single biggest investment in 2019 at our conference back in March, and I am delighted that we have kept to our commitment with the new technology starting to be rolled out in the coming weeks.
"Our members are crying out for the new tech to become available and the feedback so far has been incredibly encouraging. We all know that tech is one of the biggest challenges in our industry, and we feel if we can get this right for members, then we are really adding value to them and their businesses."
