TUI launches its first ever cruise TV ad
TUI’s newly-named UK cruise line, Marella Cruises, has launched its first ever TV advertising campaign.
Running for four weeks, the advert features in the same ad breaks as TUI on several channels including ITV, Channel 4 and some Sky channels.
The 10-second advert also uses the same music and voice over from Keeley Hawes as the TUI advert to convey the message to consumers that Marella Cruises is still part of TUI.
The advert forms part of a wider marketing campaign with focuses on both print and digital, said the company. It will show one of the company’s newest ships, Marella Discovery, and aims to highlight the onboard service.
Marella Cruises MD Chris Hackney said: "This is an incredibly exciting time for our business.
"It’s the first time in our history that we have had a cruise advert on television. We’re really proud of our brand and as cruising becomes more popular we are moving forward as Marella Cruises continuing to strive to offer amazing itineraries, fantastic entertainment and the friendliest staff at sea."
