TUI unveils Boxing Day ad campaign

Saturday, 21 Dec, 2020 0

TUI is telling customers ‘nothing compares to a real holiday’ in its new ad campaign.

All bookings made between Boxing Day and 28 February 2021 allow for fee-free changes on holidays departing between 1 May 2021 to 31 October 2021 up to 21 days before departure.

Covid cover is included on all new bookings made in January and February for departures before 31 April 2021. There are also low deposits, direct debit payment option and thousands of free kids places.

Katie McAlister Chief Marketing Officer at TUI said "We know that there’s appetite to travel so we’re here to remind them that nothing compares to an overseas holiday, and we’ll take away all the uncertainty, looking after our customers every step of the way. As a business we have fundamentally had to rethink how we do support our customers.

"We know it’s important to strongly communicate reassurance messages for customers, demonstrating that there is no better time to book a holiday, with our flexibility, Covid cover and standards guaranteed, and a refund if your holiday is unable to go ahead.

"Our Holiday Promise has evolved, and we continue to react to what our customers need. It’s been complex, and we’ve had to be extremely agile and often reactive with our marketing.

"We were the first tour operator to offer Covid cover; we know that people have responded well to this with 7 in 10 people more likely to book if it’s offered, and we know that 89% of our customers are motivated by free changes, so it’s important we continue to get that message out as people look to book their future holidays.

"We have the expertise and knowledge across our business with our retail agents and new home working teams prepared and ready to guide eager, but perhaps nervous customers, ensuring we look after the end to end experience so they can have an incredible holiday."
