Türkiye flag carrier Turkish Airlines and Air China have announced the signing of a new freesale airline codeshare agreement.

The pact will initially cover flights between Istanbul and Beijing.

The airlines aim to extend it further over time.

The new freesale airline codeshare model will allow both airlines to offer more flexibility and travel options between Türkiye and China.

The new arrangement is expected to bolster passenger traffic and with it, tourism and business in both countries.
