Turkish Airlines, Thai Airways eyeing joint venture partnership
Flag carrier Turkish Airlines is teaming up with Thai Airways to form a joint venture partnership.
They have signed an initial MoU.
Under the MoU, Thai Airways will introduce daily Istanbul flights from Bangkok starting in December.
The partnership will help boost tourism between Türkiye and Thailand, the airlines say
Beyond the Istanbul flights, Turkish Airlines and THAI will then work towards forming a joint venture partnership.
This will boost connectivity between Europe and Asia.
Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi said: “This collaboration will enhance connectivity between the two regions, and offer a wider range of destinations and services.”
