Virgin Holidays Cruises enters the ‘blogosphere’
Virgin Holidays Cruises has updated its website with the introduction of cruise blogs.
A range of opinions about cruising, other areas of travel and related subjects will be featured.
The move comes as the company seeks to better engage with customers and those new to cruising.
Regular guest blogs from experienced cruise writers will be among those to be posted on the virginholidayscruises.co.uk website.
The blogs are in addition to updated cruise news and cruise holiday offers featured on the site.
Journalists contributing blogs to the site will be long time cruiser, writer and cigar aficionado James Leavey, cruise specialist writer Lucy Daltroff and TravelMole editor Phil Davies.
Virgin Holidays Cruises managing director Robin Deller said: “Virgin Holidays Cruises is excited about venturing into the ‘blogosphere’.
“It gives us an excellent forum to engage with our customers, to find out more of their questions and opinions and give them all the answers they are looking for in a relaxed and informal environment.
“We hope it will be an entertaining and stimulating place, where all the pre-conceived formalities of cruising can fly out the window.â€
He added: “We love to put a Virgin ‘stamp’ on everything, and although the blog will be a great resource for people who are both new to cruise and seasoned pros, above all it will be a fun place to spend a few minutes browsing to learn more about us as a company, and the diversity of cruises in general.â€
