Vistara first in India to offer fee Wi-Fi on international flights
Full service carrier Vistara will become the first airline in India to provide complimentary Wi-Fi on international flights.
It will provide just 20 minutes of free in-flight Wi-Fi on routes operated by Boeing Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Free Wi-Fi access will be available for business and economy passengers.
Passengers who want to stay connected may buy more in-flight Wi-Fi time with India issued credit or debit cards.
Vistara’s international fleet’s Wi-Fi is powered by Panasonic Avionics.
Club Vistara loyalty members get access to free chat throughout the flight.
All others can pay INR372.74 for unlimited data using messaging apps.
Full unlimited internet browsing and streaming costs INR2707.04.
“We believe this added amenity will enhance the overall travel experience,” said Deepak Rajawat, chief commercial officer.
Tata-owned Vistara is currently in the process of fully integrating with sister airline Air India.
