Wendy Wu launches online bookings for agents
China and Asia specialist Wendy Wu Tours has launched a new website enabling agents to book all escorted tours online.
It says agents can now make bookings 24 hours a day and in less than two minutes.
They can also manage their ‘Bambu’ points, the company’s agent reward scheme, and see individual commissions for each tour at the point of sale.
Joe Karbo, group chief executive said: "We have listened very carefully to our agents throughout the design process and have customised the portal with functionality specific to the trade.
"As a company, we are in the process of an ambitious global digital transformation overhaul and we’re putting agents at the centre of this change by delivering a site that dramatically speeds up the booking process, provides a seamless experience and allows agents to concentrate on giving a superior service to customers."
Wendy Wu, founder and chairwoman, said until now booking a niche destination like China and Japan has been a long and often time consuming process for agents.
"We appreciate our agents are busy and know how important time and speed is to give a superior service to customers, that’s why our website is now the fastest way to make a Wendy Wu Tours booking," she said.
To celebrate the launch of the website, every agent who confirms a booking online from 22 June to 31 July will receive a £50 incentive which is automatically awarded to their online account.
Agents will also be entered into a draw to win a selection of prizes including hampers, action cameras, FitBits, Yo Sushi vouchers, cinema tickets and a place on a Wendy Wu Tours fam trip.
