Avis Budget Group is upgrading its loyalty scheme, Avis Preferred. The new programme offers instant rewards, including a 10% discount from the first rental. Avis Preferred offers members a premium level of service. They can use the Avis App to verify their identity ahead of time to bypass the counter, and in some locations, access their vehicle via a Self-Service Kiosk. Under the tagline ‘More rewarding car hire’, the new Avis Preferred loyalty programme for 2024 will retain its priority services and unlock more benefits. These include 10% off all future car rentals from sign up which are automatically applied at booking. The programme’s priority service allows members to jump the queue to their vehicle. Avis Preferred also gives access to exclusive offers with selected travel partners. When members rent five times and spend €1,000 that year, they qualify for Avis Preferred Plus, with complimentary single car upgrades and free additional driver. Renting 10 times and spending €2,000 qualifies for the President's Club tier. This offers complimentary single upgrades and free double upgrades on weekends, as well as free Roadside Assistance Plus. Travel partner offers include 10% off Viator experiences, 12% off Lounge Pass airport lounges and up to 30% Priority Pass lounge membership.
