Azamara Cruises is returning to Alaska for the 2026 season. After a seven-year hiatus, Azamara Pursuit will sail 10- to 13-day Alaska cruises with extended stays in port of 10+ hours, cultural encounters with indigenous communities, and wildlife excursions. Azamara Cruises has released its 2025 and 2026 winter sailings, which will see it visiting eight new ports for the first time. Azamara's new sailings include a Grand Voyage circumnavigating South America and back-to-back Caribbean sailings without any sea days. New ports include Scarborough, capital of Tobago and Pointe des Galets on the island of Réunion. “We know that UK travellers are also looking to sail for longer, so we are excited to be launching a new 79-night Grand Voyage in 2026 that will take guests to 47 ports in 24 countries". This voyage includes a total of seven overnights including Buenos Aires and San Antonio, Chile. The Grand Voyage is round trip from Miami. Azamara has also designed its Caribbean itineraries to prioritise days in port, so guests can book back-to-back Caribbean sailings for up to 14 days at sea with port calls every day. Azamara Cruises has hired Peter Ryan as new Business Development Manager, UK & Ireland. He brings more than 25 years' travel industry experience. His previous roles were at Thomas Cook, Classic Travel Worldchoice and most recently, Celebrity Cruises. At Celebrity Cruises, he held the role of Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast, responsible for managing trade partner head office accounts and driving commercial targets. Ryan also played an integral role in ship launches such as Celebrity Beyond and hosting ship visits with trade partners throughout the summer season in Southampton. Prior to Celebrity Cruises, he spent 14 years at Thomas Cook, managing sales and profitability across retail branches. Small ship line Azamara is expanding its shore programme with a series of new National Geographic tours. Beginning this month, Azamara will offer nine different National Geographic Day Tours in partnership with Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, the global cruise ground handler. InterCruises collaborates with National Geographic to operate these experiences. The tours offer insights into local conservation, history and culture. "Our Azamara guest is constantly seeking new ways to explore different cultures and destinations through educational and immersive travel," said Paul Chapple, Head of Land Product Development and Operations at Azamara. "National Geographic Day Tours are truly unique and original experiences, arguably bringing guests closer to the destination than ever before,” said Virginia Quintairos, BDM at Intercruises. Each tour is guided by National Geographic-trained guides. The National Geographic tour highlights include Dominican Republic gastronomy, Cozumel's coral reef ecosystem, and a visit to an Emirati Perfumery in Dubai.

Azamara has debuted a new referral program, 'Refer-a-Friend'. It provides an easy and lucrative way for Azamara advocates to bring their friends and family onboard to experience cruising the Azamara way. Both referrers and referees get rewards like a $200 digital Visa gift card. Referrers can share their personal referral link with travellers who have not previously sailed with the cruise line in the last five years. This can be shared via email, text message, or through social media platforms. Once the referees have booked an Azamara cruise through the respective link, the advocate will receive a $200 digital Visa gift card. The new guest will receive a $200 digital gift card 90 days before their Azamara cruise date. Guests can make up to two referrals per year.  

Azamara, has launched a 'Work & Wander' package targeting nomadic business professionals. Aiming to lure remote workers looking to combine business with exploration, Azamara is touting speedy, stable high-speed cruise ship Wi-Fi from Starlink. It includes office equipment and dedicated IT support. For leisure, guests can enjoy extended destination days, including late nights and overnights in port. Azamara has unveiled details of its 2026 World Cruise. Departing PortMiami on 6 January 2026, it visits over 35 countries aboard Azamara Onward,, and concludes in Barcelona The world cruise offers 55 late nights and overnights, and 60 extended destination days.
