Launching this dynamic initiative brings each port to life like never before, with new programming surrounding destination expansion, authentic local cuisine, cultural engagement, and elevated excursions. Azamara Cruises’ new initiative will more than triple their specialty voyages from 6 to 22, including introduction of 3 Solar Eclipse cruises in 2026. In addition, Azamara will offer 33 Country-Intensive voyages and 25 new ports in 2025-2026, providing guests more time ashore than any other cruise line—with 51% of time in port being late nights or overnights. This extended time allows for deeper exploration, meaningful connections, and a more immersive travel experience. It has opened reservations for the world voyage which spans more than six months, 37 countries, 103 destinations, and 5 continents. The 188-night journey visits iconic cities including Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam, and Stockholm, departing from San Francisco on 5 January 2027. Azamara Journey®, Azamara Quest® and Azamara Onward® will all spend the summer season in Europe, spanning the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, including extended time in Greece, Ireland, the British Isles and more. - This 3-night program offers an immersive discovery of Iceland's natural wonders, including its world-famous waterfalls, hot springs, and the county’s remote highlands. Highlights include the stunning Kerid Crater, the iconic Gullfoss Waterfall, and the colorful mountains and glaciers of Kerlingarfjöll Highlands. Travellers will have the opportunity to explore the Central Highlands further with a guided hike along one of Iceland’s most scenic and colourful trails – the Hveradalir Hike. Next, it’s a trip to the relaxing Secret Lagoon of Fludir before heading to Fridheimar, a popular lunch spot for locals and tourists alike, where guests will be met by a family who introduce them to their market greenhouse production and indulge in their famous all you can eat tomato soup. Once in Athens, travellers will have the opportunity to visit Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon, a must-visit for its historic ruins and scenic views of the Aegean Sea. Azamara's new sailings include a Grand Voyage circumnavigating South America and back-to-back Caribbean sailings without any sea days. New ports include Scarborough, capital of Tobago and Pointe des Galets on the island of Réunion. “We know that UK travellers are also looking to sail for longer, so we are excited to be launching a new 79-night Grand Voyage in 2026 that will take guests to 47 ports in 24 countries". This voyage includes a total of seven overnights including Buenos Aires and San Antonio, Chile. The Grand Voyage is round trip from Miami. Azamara has also designed its Caribbean itineraries to prioritise days in port, so guests can book back-to-back Caribbean sailings for up to 14 days at sea with port calls every day. Beginning this month, Azamara will offer nine different National Geographic Day Tours in partnership with Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, the global cruise ground handler. InterCruises collaborates with National Geographic to operate these experiences. The tours offer insights into local conservation, history and culture. "Our Azamara guest is constantly seeking new ways to explore different cultures and destinations through educational and immersive travel," said Paul Chapple, Head of Land Product Development and Operations at Azamara. "National Geographic Day Tours are truly unique and original experiences, arguably bringing guests closer to the destination than ever before,” said Virginia Quintairos, BDM at Intercruises. Each tour is guided by National Geographic-trained guides.
