  CroisiEurope is building a new luxury ship that will offer eco-tourism experiences on the Amazon. The new, as yet un-named ship, is CroisiEurope’s first new build since 2020 and also the first to operate in South America. The 32-guest, four-deck ship will be designed showcasing local arts and crafts inspired by Amazonian culture. Accommodation will comprise 16 suites with private balconies including two presidential suites. There will also be a gourmet restaurant serving Brazilian inspired dishes, a spa, fitness room, sun deck and conference room. CroisiEurope is implementing the latest eco innovations including an advanced wastewater treatment system and solar panels which will allow the ship to shut down its generators at night and operate on batteries. Sustainable practices will be observed onboard while ashore. Starting in 2027, the new ship will home port in Manaus and offer 12-day itineraries exploring the Brazilian Amazon. It will navigate the Amazon River, the Rio Negro, the Solimões, the Arapiuns and the Tapajós up to the Colombian border. Various extensions will also be available. Itineraries will be open for booking soon.

  Croisieurope introduces all-inclusive pricing on Mekong cruises - News & announcements

  River cruise operator CroisiEurope is making all Mekong cruises between Cambodia and Vietnam all-inclusive from August 2024. It includes drinks within the cost of the cruise. This brings the Mekong cruises in line with the rest of CroisiEurope's European and worldwide cruises. To celebrate the start of the season, CroisiEurope is offering savings of £715 per person plus included excursions on all Mekong cruise departures in August and September 2024. The Mekong cruise season begins in August. Customers can choose from a number of CroisiEurope itineraries including an 11-day cruise between Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City with calls in Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach, Koh Chen, Phnom Penh, Chau Doc, Sa Dec, Vinh Long, Cai Be and My Tho. Highlights include navigating the Chao Gao canal, visiting five major temples in Angkor and meeting villagers in Koh Chen. Optional four- and seven-day pre- or post-cruise extensions are also available taking in Hanoi, Halong Bay and the Imperial Cities. CroisiEurope has five ships sailing the Mekong: The RV Indochine 1 - a colonial-style ship with 24 cabins on two decks and can accommodate 48 passengers. The RV Indochine 2 – a contemporary vessel with 31 cabins over two decks for 62 passengers, a swimming pool and a massage area. The RV Lan Diep was inspired by old traditional boats on the Mekong and has 22 cabins over two decks accommodating 44 passengers. The RV Toum Tiou 1 is a colonial-style ship with 10 cabins over two decks, accommodating 20 passengers. The RV Toum Tiou 2 is a colonial-style ship with 14 cabins over two decks, accommodating 28 passengers. Each ship has a panoramic restaurant serving Asian and international dishes, an air-conditioned lounge and sun deck. 2024 prices start from £2,801 per person (including the £715 per person discount) for an 11-day cruise between Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City.

    Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has announced that its worldwide programme of 2023 river, canal and ocean itineraries is now on sale. The 2023 programme features 170 itineraries on 55 ships, sailing on 39 waterways in 37 countries.   In addition, CroisiEurope is offering an early booking discount on all 2023 itineraries, excluding cruises on the Volga, Nile and Ganges of 15% if booked by 31^st August 2022, 10% if booked between 1^st September and 15^th October 2022 and 5% for bookings made between 16^th October and 30^th November 2022.   New for 2023 is a unique hotel barge cruise from the Petite Seine to the Yonne. This seven-day cruise, which takes place onboard MS Deborah, takes guests on a magnificent journey to quaint ports of call featuring historical cities, splendid gardens and excellent local cuisine. Starting in Paris, the cruise visits Evry, Melun, Moret-Sur-Loing and Montereau-Fault-Yonne before finishing in Sens where guests transfer back to Paris.   CroisiEurope is cementing its support of the UK travel trade with the launch of its first ever travel agent booking incentive. The CroisiEurope Sales Challenge runs until 31 December 2022. It will give all travel agents in the UK the chance to earn points which can be exchanged for a variety of trips, ranging from a two-night hotel break in the UK to a safari-cruise in Southern Africa. Travel agents should register at https://pro-uk.croisieurope.com/information/challenge-2022-uk-travel-agents. As soon as their registration has been validated, they will automatically receive 250 points to kick start their challenge followed by points based on the turnover they achieve. If they sell a cruise with a value of £699, they will receive 699 points. There will also be bonus points on offer throughout the duration. Once enough points have been accumulated, agents can exchange them for a trip of their choice which include a two-night hotel break in the UK for 2,000 points, an ocean cruise for 25,000 points, and a safari-cruise in Southern Africa for 35,000. It is offering savings of up to £512 per person on select 2021 departures in Provence, Alsace and Burgundy while a new itinerary between Paris and Sens will launch in 2023.     Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has announced that bookings are now open for its 2023 French hotel barge itineraries which operate through Alsace, Burgundy, Provence, Ile de France and Champagne as well as on the Upper Loire. New for 2023 is a unique ‘Paris, Medieval France & the Romance of Fontainebleau’ cruise from the Petite Seine to the Yonne. Book any 2023 hotel barge itinerary by 28th February 2022 and enjoy a 15% discount, between 1^st and 31st March for a 10% discount and between 1st and 30th April for a 5% discount.   The new seven-day ‘Paris, Medieval France & the Romance of Fontainebleau’ cruise takes guests on a magnificent journey to quaint ports of call featuring historical cities, splendid gardens and excellent local cuisine. Operating between Paris and Sens, the cruise visits Evry, Melun, Moret-Sur-Loing and Montereau-Fault-Yonne with highlights including:  

  • A visit to the sumptuous Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th century masterpiece built by Louis le Vau for Nicolas Fouquet, Louis XIV's Superintendent des Finances. Situated in the village of Maincy, the Château is remarkably well-preserved and houses an exceptional collection of furniture, tapestries and works of art.
  • The charming village of Barbizon which nestles on the edge of Fontainebleau forest and owes its fame to the 19th-century landscape painters Théodore Rousseau, Jean-Baptiste Corot, Charles- Francois Daubigny and Jean-François Millet who lived there. Their artistic movement, the Barbizon School (1830 to 1875), was considered a precursor of Impressionism. The artists appreciated the tranquillity of this peaceful village and the beauty of the surrounding nature.
  • The famed and remarkably well-preserved Palace of Fontainebleau, a masterpiece of French architecture and art which was a royal hunting lodge in the Middle Ages, King Francis I's residence in the 16th century and Napoleon Bonaparte's favourite place to stay in the early 19^th century. The Palace stands in absolutely stunning flower-filled grounds, with large formal parterres designed by Le Nôtre, a carp pond with a small pavilion, an English garden containing rare trees species, and Diane's garden with an elegant fountain.
  • Medieval Provins whose architecture includes high ramparts with fortified gates and the stone Tithe Barn which was used as a market when Provins was a medieval trading hub and host of a major annual trade fair. With views over Provins, the hilltop César tower dates from the 12^th century, while the town's underground tunnels feature centuries-old wall inscriptions.
  • The peaceful city of Sens with its famous cathedral and covered marketplace.

  CroisiEurope will gradually restart European river, canal and ocean cruises starting early next month. River and ocean cruises resume in June while cruises on the French canals will resume in July. It begins on the Douro from 7 June with cruises on the Gironde and the Seine following in late June. Rhine, Rhone and Danube itineraries are scheduled to resume in early July. It will restart ocean itineraries in Croatia and Corsica on 10 June and 4 July respectively. John Fair, UK sales director for CroisiEurope, said: "We know that our guests are desperate to get back onboard so I'm sure they will be as excited as we are about our planned restart. The entire CroisiEurope team has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this restart." Until 31 August, all cruises qualify for CroisiEurope's flexible booking conditions which include a full refund should the cruise be cancelled by CroisiEurope and moving a booking free of charge to any other departure in 2021 or 2022 more than 30 days prior to departure.   CroisiEurope unveils ocean voyages to Corsica, Canary Islands - News & announcements

  European river cruise operator CroisiEurope, has unveiled 2021-2022 itineraries for its ocean cruise ship, La Belle des Oceans. It will offer sailings to Corsica and island hopping voyages in the Canary Islands. New seven-night cruise will include six islands in the Canary Islands archipelago and visits to three national parks - Teide, Garajonay and Timanfaya. The cruise starts with an overnight in Tenerife and calls in El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera and Gran Canaria before finishing with an overnight in Lanzarote. Canary Islands cruises operate between October and December 2021 with prices from £2,175 per person for a seven-night cruise in an ocean-view suite. Corsica seven-night sailings, which launched in 2020, are round trip from Nice with calls in Ajaccio (overnight), Bonifacio, Porto Vecchio, Bastia and L'Ile Rousse. Itineraries include cruising along the coast of the Gulf of Porto, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests will enjoy a Corsican-themed evening and lectures on Corsican nature and history. The cruise operates between May and October in 2021 and 2022 with prices from £2,039 per person in an ocean-view suite. John Fair, UK sales director for CroisiEurope, said: "Corsica and the Canary Islands are perfect destinations for a boutique-size ship such as La Belle des Oceans which can offer a good mix of off-the-beaten-path and popular ports of call." The seven-deck La Belle Des Océans, which was previously Silversea's Silver Discoverer, accommodates 130 passengers in 65 ocean-view suites, nine of which have private balconies. Ship amenities include a swimming pool, two bars / lounges, a restaurant, a fitness centre and wellness salon.
