Guests will be able to enjoy over 40 new voyages across four Queens: flagship Queen Mary 2, its newest vessel Queen Anne, as well as Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. The new itineraries feature 101 unique destinations in 57 countries. This includes 62 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 22 overnight port calls Highlights include two maiden calls for the fleet: Ferrol, Spain and Acajutla, El Salvador aboard Queen Victoria. Cunard World Club members get early access to bookings from 1pm on 16 October, 2024, before they go on general sale 24 hours later. Guests who book one of Cunard's new voyages by 9 December 2024 will receive a 10% Early Booking Saving. This offer is valid for selected voyages departing between 15 October 2026 and 30 April 2027. Additionally, Cunard is offering travel agents the chance to earn double Shine points on all eligible voyages that they make and play on Shine Rewards Club. A seven-strong team will tour UK high streets during CLIA Cruise Week (16-20 September) for in-person news on the launch of its winter 2027 programme. The trade roadshow will also include visits to three travel agent head offices – Fred Olsen Travel in Ipswich, Panache in Chorley, and Travel Village in Chorley – allowing the team to speak to more agents than ever. As well as product updates, there will be Shine reward points to give away. The week-long initiative will also be an opportunity for Cunard to share details of its new ‘Pay As You Earn’ concept on Shine Rewards Club. Pay As You Earn allows agents to continuously pay Shine points towards their own Cunard voyage. Benefits include being able to book any voyage currently on sale; being able to book multiple voyages; and being able to earn more shine points via a personal booking. Currently, agents can only book using their points at the time of booking. Tom Mahoney, Director of UK Sales at Cunard, said: “We are as committed as ever to supporting our travel agents. The ship arrives in Cunard’s spiritual home on 6 September which is the first time Cunard has returned to the city since the naming ceremony of Queen Anne in June. Queen Mary 2 will depart for Cork in Ireland on 7 September. The voyage to Liverpool started in New York on 23 August for the ship’s 400th crossing of the Atlantic. The ship is currently on a British Isles cruise which departed Southampton. Cunard will now host two ship visits for its travel agent partners in the region, on 6 and 7 September. Up to 30 spaces are available on each. The visit on 6 September will focus on the line’s entertainment offering and feature a Champagne afternoon tea in the Champagne Bar, a tour of the ship and the opportunity to see an exclusive early evening performance in the Royal Court Theatre. Travel agents on the 7 September visit will also have a tour of the ship, followed by a three-course lunch in the Britannia restaurant and then free time to explore. Agents secured their places via the Shine Rewards platform, Cunard’s agent loyalty programme. Tom Mahoney, Director of UK Sales at Cunard, said: “First-hand experience is the most effective way for the trade to broaden their product knowledge and build their confidence when selling Cunard.” Cunard’s wider 2024 ship visit programme also includes events in Greenock and Southampton, with opportunities for travel agents to visit new ship Queen Anne, and Queen Victoria, as well as Queen Mary 2. They include a guided tour of suites, staterooms and venues, a three-course lunch with wine in the Britannia restaurant, and free time to explore the ship. A handover ceremony took place in Italy at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard for the 3,000-guest ship. The event was attended by Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, and Italian Minister for Relations with Parliament, Luca Ciriani. Katie McAlister, President of Cunard and Paul Ludlow, President of Carnival UK were also present. Queen Anne is the 249th ship to sail under the Cunard flag and the third built by Fincantieri. Queen Anne sails an inaugural cruise from Southampton to Lisbon on 3 May. The 114,000-ton ship has 14 decks with more choices of entertainment, dining and bars than ever before. Cunard has previously announced a series of partnerships for Queen Anne, including Le Gavroche at Sea residencies hosted by chef Michel Roux, wellness packages curated by Harper's Bazaar UK's beauty experts and exclusive British Film Institute screenings in The Pavilion.
