Enterprise, Alamo car rental brands to début in South Korean - News & announcements
Two of the world's top car rental brands will gain a foothold in South Korea for the first time.
Enterprise Holdings announced an agreement with Korea First Rent A Car to add new franchise locations for the Enterprise and Alamo brands.
Founded in 1992, KFR has a well-established presence at US military facilities in South Korea and key accounts including major hotel companies.
Enterprise currently offers chauffeur-driven services through its partners in Vietnam, the Philippines, and China.
"KFR's luxury offerings and first-rate customer service makes them an ideal partner," said Marco Beltgens, Assistant VP, Global Franchising - Asia Pacific at Enterprise Holdings.
"The market presents tremendous opportunity."
KFR currently offers a range of compact cars, luxury cars, SUVs and vans available for daily, weekly monthly or even yearly rental.
Expansion plans include a presence at the four largest airports in South Korea including Incheon International Airport.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alamo branches are scheduled to open in South Korea in April 2023.
Enterprise Holdings operates a network of more than 10,000 neighbourhood and airport rental locations.
