Flag carrier Gulf Air has celebrated the launch of new daily flights to Singapore from Bahrain, with a special send off for UK travelers connecting from London Heathrow. Passengers on the inaugural daily flight were treated to cupcakes and celebrations at the boarding gate before the Boeing 787 Dreamliner departed for Bahrain. Daily flights from London Heathrow depart at 09:30am, arriving into Singapore at 12:30pm the following day. Flights from Manchester operate five times per week between Wednesday and Sunday, and also connect in Bahrain for onward travel to Singapore. Return flights from London Heathrow start from £543 in economy and £2,030 in Falcon Gold Class. Gulf Air is the national carrier of Bahrain, with a global network spanning Europe, Asia, and Africa. The airline currently serves 54 destinations.

Bahrain flag carrier Gulf Air is expanding to China from January 2024. The expansion plans into China were revealed at the recent Bahrain-China Investment Forum. Gulf Air's will launch China flights to Guangzhou and Shanghai.
