Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, the iconic Venetian hotel and former flour mill on Giudecca island, is delighted to unveil a brand new seasonal cocktail menu at its iconic Skyline Rooftop Bar. Available from the start of November at the highest bar in all of Venice, Skyline’s menu provides a new cocktail menu to surprise and delight every palate this autumn and winter. From cinnamon and pear blended martinis to a Campari caviar-adorned negroni, the menu provides cocktail lovers with the ultimate way to warm up, unwind and take in the views in true dolce vita style this season. A truly immersive experience for all the senses, the menu is the brainchild of Skyline’s new bar manager Valentina Mircea and includes a QR code to allow guests to watch the mixology team create their cocktail virtually before it is served to them. This provides guests with the opportunity to learn more about each cocktail and to experience backstage behind the bar as patrons select their tipple of choice. The talented team at Skyline Rooftop Bar is committed to a sustainable mixology method spearheaded by Valentina, with each cocktail created with local produce while breathing new life into used and surplus ingredients that would otherwise be discarded. Highlights from the new menu include: Artisan Negroni Sospiri Gin | Campari | Rabitt Premium Bitter | Bottega Vermouth A unique take on the iconic Italian aperitivo, Skyline’s Artisan Negroni distils the essence of a Venetian winter’s late afternoon – early evening. Crafted with locally-made Sospiri gin, Rabbit premium bitter from Treviso and vermouth from nearby Bottega, this cocktail harnesses the finest local ingredients from across the Venetian terroir, delivering a strong, spicy and bitter profile that reflects the city's dynamic spirit. Finished with a Campari caviar garnish that sparkles like the lights on a cold Veneto evening, the beverage is a true example of Skyline’s ‘Project Kilometre 0’, which champions using local ingredients to minimise environmental impact. Stucky Storm Stucky Gin | Tamdhu | Ginger Sake | Super Lemon Juice | Sugar Syrup The Stucky Storm evokes the spirit of a Venetian winter storm with its powerful blend of Stucky Gin and smoky Chivas, softened by the zesty punch of super lemon juice -extracted using the entirety of a lemon, ensuring zero waste and maximum flavour. Ginger sake and yuzu foam add a warming layer, reminiscent of the gardens that inspired Hilton Molino Stucky Venice’s very own gin. A bold yet refreshing cocktail that mirrors the resilience and beauty of Venice under the winter skies. 2o7 Sky Amaro Locale 207 | Italicus Bergamot Liqueur | House Agrumi Liqueur 2o7 Sky invites guests to soar above the Venetian rooftops and savour the golden glow of a sunset over the lagoon. This smooth, aromatic blend of Amaro Locale, Italicus, and Skyline’s homemade Agrumi Liqueur – made from surplus citrus fruit celebrates the city's rich history and vibrant flavours. Crafted with a hint of citrus sweetness, the drink captures the lively essence of Venice as it transitions from day to night, much like the colours that dance across the skyline at dusk. Glacial Martini Calvados | Martell | Cinnamon Syrup | Fresh Orange | Citric Pear | Dehydrated Pear | Ricotta Cream A tribute to Venice’s clarity and elegance, each sip of the Glacial Martini reflects the smooth waters of the city’s canals. A rich blend of Calvados and Martell is brightened by fresh orange and citric pear, creating a cocktail that is both refreshing and luxurious. A topping of dehydrated pear with ricotta cream adds a delightful and sustainable surprise; leftover cream from the martini’s clarification process is ingeniously repurposed into a zero-waste garnish. Mystique Reposado Altos | Vida Mezcal | Cadello Anise Liqueur | Vermouth del Professore Inspired by Venice’s iconic masquerades, Mystique is a cocktail of mystery and allure. The smoky notes of Vida Mezcal pair perfectly with the strong, smooth base of Reposado Altos, while locally-made Cadello anise liqueur from Treviso adds a spicy aniseed twist that lingers on the palate. Vermouth del Professore rounds out this rich, complex cocktail, evoking the hidden layers of Venice’s cultural tapestry. Lagoon Mist Bumbu | Campari Cask | Brown Sugar | Angostura Bitters | Aria di Orange Juice Foam | Mixed Bitter Spray Inspired by the breath-taking spectacle of the emerald waters of the Venetian lagoon meeting the crimson hues of the morning sky, Lagoon Mist brings together the rich, smooth notes of Bumbu rum and the bittersweet complexity of Campari Cask, balanced with Angostura and brown sugar. Topped with an airy Aria di Orange juice foam, it mimics the soft mist that hovers over the canals at sunrise. Skylight Brew Orange Juice | Egg White | Citrus Sugar Syrup | Dilmah Tea As the dawn breaks over the Venetian skyline, painting the sky with hues of orange and gold, a new day begins to unfold. Inspired by the tranquil beauty of this moment, Skylight Brew is an alcohol-free cocktail that captures the essence of the awakening city and is the perfect refreshment for any time of day or night. Sunset Palette Italicus | Super Lemon Juice | Nardini Brandy | Rich Sugar Syrup | Egg white | Recioto Del Valpolicella Inspired by the colours of the sunset, Sunset Palette is an intoxicating blend of Italicus, Nardini brandy and Recioto del Valpolicella, balanced with sugar syrup and creamy egg white. As twilight descends upon the Venetian skyline, casting a golden glow over the ancient rooftops and winding canals, this cocktail is the perfect tipple to enjoy on the rooftop terrace to toast the end of another perfect day. The rooftop bar at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is a true Venice institution and is the highest bar in the city, loved by hotel guests and locals alike. With awe-inspiring views across the city of canals and the lagoon below, there’s nowhere quite like Skyline to kick back and watch the sunset, aperitivo in hand. Nightly rates at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice begin at €240 per night based on double occupancy with breakfast included. Molino Suites start from €590 per night. Hilton also reveals what's influencing British traveller behaviour. Among the UK travel trends, it highlights: The Great Sleep Split - Booking separate rooms or beds on a holiday, so you and your partner can get a better night's sleep Me-Mooning - Going on a solo trip Nostalgication – Parents revisiting a childhood holiday destination with their family Kidcation - When the children influence the holiday and its adventures DINKury Destinations - Dual-income-no-kids spending more when it comes to holidays Ex-cursions - Going on a trip after a breakup Spontanitrip - Embracing the unknown, setting off on holiday with no plans Flexiscape - Mix and match different holiday styles—balancing relaxation with adventure for the all-in-one getaway Hilton's 2025 Trends Report found that 51% of UK travellers avoid setting an alarm on holiday to catch up on sleep. However, this isn't the only measure people are taking to ensure a good night’s sleep. 'Sleep divorce' - the act of confidently gaining independence of your bed from a loved one - is proving popular. Hilton's research reveals that 59% say they sleep better alone and 33% prefer to sleep in a separate bed. This results in 19% booking separate beds, while 11% even go as far as to book different rooms. Nearly half (47%) do this to make sure they have a better night's sleep. Solo travel continues to trend upwards, with Hilton's latest research showing that 34% want to go on a solo trip before the end of 2025. It found 21% of solo travellers are out to meet new friends, while 12% are looking for romance along the way. The report reveals 45% of Brits take their kids to destinations they visited as children. Meanwhile, 47% actively return to their childhood holiday spots with their little ones to reminisce and pass down shared experiences. Also families are increasingly giving children a role in travel planning. Family holidays are increasingly shaped by the interests and preferences of the youngest members, who are not only influencing where they go, but what activities they do. "Our 2025 Trends Report shows that resting and recharging continue to be primary motivators to travel, and exploring nostalgic destinations with family and friends is on the rise,” said Simon Vincent, EVP of Europe Middle East and Africa.Related News Stories: Tourism Solomons launches new agent training program Miami celebrating 40 years of Miami Vice Port Canaveral ditches cruise terminal development plan HAL launches 2026 Alaska season Iberia celebrates the 70 years of New York flights easyJet puts 13 new routes on sale for winter 2024 and summer ... Fairway to heaven: Hilton Head Island nature and world-class golfBy Graham McKenzie If I am asked, what do I want from a holiday then ...Read moreFairway to heaven: Hilton Head Island nature and world-class golf - News & announcementsBy Graham McKenzie If I am asked, what do I want from a holiday then almost machine gun like I blurt out ‘wildlife, activity and local food’. If that activity involves golf, then so much the better but hey I’m not that fussy. I think I have found the almost perfect destination. Nestled on the picturesque coast of South Carolina, Hilton Head Island is a haven for avid golfers and nature enthusiasts alike. With pristine beaches, stunning landscapes, and a collection of top-notch golf courses, this charming island offers an unforgettable experience. Hilton Head Island (or HHI according to the golf balls) boasts a tranquil ambiance that makes it the perfect getaway for relaxation. With over 12 miles of pristine beaches, visitors can indulge in sun-kissed shores, the refreshing coastal breeze, and enjoy water activities. The island's lush maritime forests, nature preserves, and bike-friendly trails provide ample opportunities for exploration. Hilton Head Island's rich ecosystem, home to diverse wildlife and bird species, makes it a paradise for nature enthusiasts. What’s not to like ? The area has also gained a well-deserved reputation as one of the premier golf destinations in the United States. It boasts a remarkable array of world-class golf courses. From challenging championship courses to scenic links-style layouts, Hilton Head offers options for all skill levels. Courses like Harbour Town Golf Links, designed by Pete Dye, to the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Course at Palmetto Dunes are true golf gems. Relative newcomers like Atlantic Dunes designed by Davis Love III do not let the HHI side down in the slightest with narrow approaches, swift putting surfaces and a judicious use of water. Enthusiasts may also appreciate the island's golf academies, practice facilities, and professional instruction available. Modern golf courses can also be a birder’s dream. The design and maintenance of the course has to fall within the general guidelines of biodiversity by ‘helping people enhance the valuable natural areas and wildlife habitats. Whenever I play golf in the US I take with me my ‘big’ camera so that I do not miss out on any photo opportunities with the local flora and fauna. While golf may be the main attraction, Hilton Head Island offers a plethora of other activities. There is fine dining at award-winning restaurants, charming boutiques and art galleries, or a fishing excursion to catch your dinner. I adore oysters and on HHI you can have them for almost every meal and not break the bank. I drew the line at dipping them in eggs over easy, but I certainly had my fill. If seafood is your thing, then this is the place to come. For those that like some red meat you won’t be disappointed. On my last night I indulged my cholesterol readings by having a medium rare filet (bone in) at the Harbour Town Links Club House. My colleague had the ‘Butchers Cut’ which is local lingo for half a cow. You could not fault it. Hilton Head Island is a destination that seamlessly blends natural beauty and recreational opportunities. The island ticks all the boxes. Pack your clubs, get your big camera out, don some sunscreen, and prepare for an unforgettable island getaway. Graham stayed at the Inn and Club at Harbour Town part of the Sea Pines Resort portfolio and was jointly hosted by Hilton Head Island and Savannah/HHI International Airport -
