Andrea Godfrey, Head of Regent Product and Marketing, commented: “This beautiful new brochure brings together our entire summer collection for 2023, and is full of inspiration for the year ahead. We’ve added a host of new trips, including in Norway and Finland - where we’ve seen an increase in enquiries for this summer – as well as some fabulous new trips in the Balkans and Albania”.
“As well as adding new product this year, we’ve also worked hard to ensure that our expert sales and product team have hit the road in recent months, sending our consultants to Iceland, Georgia, Armenia, Borneo, Lapland, Greenland and beyond. In doing so, we maintain our position of having the most up-to-date product knowledge in the business, helping our agent partners match their clients to the best possible holiday for them, and priding ourselves on delivering personal, efficient and informed customer service.”
Reflecting the depth and breadth of the Regent offering, new trips for 2023 include:
Albania in depth
As the UK market leader to Albania (Regent was the first UK tour operator to offer holidays to the country, in 1971) this comprehensive exploration of Albania was painstakingly put together and will be led by Regent’s very own Carl Meadows, one of the most highly respected experts at Regent. Over fourteen days, the tour will uncover history from Greek, Roman and Ottoman ruins to Cold War bunkers; UNESCO World Heritage sites; culture, food and art; secluded coastal islands; and some of Albania’s best and most peaceful beaches. It features encounters with Albanians with a deep connection to their own country, offering fascinating conversations with locals including high-ranking clerics, artists, journalists, and even an ex-prisoner from the infamous Spaç Prison.
The tour departs on 17th September 2023 and costs from £3000 per person, based on two sharing in a range of three to five-star hotels on bed and breakfast basis.
The price also includes return flights, most meals, all transfers/transport, the services of a local English speaking guide and Regent’s own tour director.
