  In March, Norse Atlantic Airways recorded a load factor of 95%, equaling its highest ever load factor achieved, and representing a 13-percentage point increase from 82% in the same month the year before. The load factor of own scheduled network stand-alone was 93%, compared to 79% in March 2024. The Company operated 374 flights and transported 108,710 passengers across its network and ACMI/charter operations, a 27% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year. 73% of the flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, on par with the same month last year. On-time performance was negatively impacted by Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays and airport congestions. ACMI/charter services saw large growth, with 167 flights operated in March 2025 compared to 46 flights in March 2024.

The load factor of own scheduled network stand-alone was 93%, compared to 70% in February 2024. The Company operated 301 flights and transported 84,335 passengers across its network and ACMI/charter operations, a 66% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year. 70% of the flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, compared to 84% the same month last year. On-time performance was negatively impacted by Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays and airport congestions. ACMI/charter services saw large growth, with 137 flights operated in February 2025 compared to 30 flights in February 2024.

  Norse Atlantic Airways again recorded its highest-ever load factor in a month, achieving 94% in December 2024, a 23-percentage point increase from 71% in the same month the year before. The Company operated 434 flights and transported 124,450 passengers across its network and ACMI/charter operations, a 57% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year. 53% of the flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, with a 100% flight completion rate achieved. 33% of the flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time. There were negative impacts from air traffic control (ATC) and air traffic flow management (ATFM) restrictions enroute, combined with airport related challenges through the peak season. ACMI/charter services saw substantial growth, with 158 flights operated in December 2024 compared to 22 flights in December 2023.

  Norse Atlantic Airways will shift New York JFK operations to the new Terminal 6 (T6) starting in 2026. Terminal 6 is a key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's $19 billion transformation of the airport. Norse Atlantic, the 15th largest airline at JFK airport, currently operates nonstop services from JFK Terminal 7 to Athens, Berlin, London Gatwick, Oslo, Paris and Rome using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Norse Atlantic began operating from JFK Terminal 7 with one daily flight to London Gatwick in 2023 and has since grown its service to include up to six daily flights to and from Europe during the peak 2024 summer period. Beginning in 2026, Norse Atlantic passengers will be among the first to experience T6’s digital-first, terminal experience, with a less than five-minute average walk from the TSA security checkpoint exit to all gates,100,000 square feet of shopping, dining, lounges and amenities. The terminal will feature curated public art, sustainable operating features, and a premium guest experience throughout. “We have enjoyed a fantastic partnership with Norse Atlantic since the very beginning of their JFK T7 operations, and are excited to have them join us at the new T6,” said Steve Thody, CEO, JFK Millennium Partners.   Norse Atlantic is added more summer US flights from London Gatwick. Norse is launching nonstop flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Boston. They will join routes to New York, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. With seven routes, Norse says it is serving more US destinations from London Gatwick than any other airline. “The Norse team are disruptors. We look forward to making our product available to even more customers this summer,” it said. Norse Atlantic operates a daily direct service to New York and recently announced flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale starting in May. The Washington, D.C. route is first to launch six days a week on 1 June, followed by daily Los Angeles flights from 30 June Norse operates an all-Dreamliner fleet of aircraft.

  Norse January operational update – Good performance from New Year promotional sales and on track to deliver a strong summer 2023 programme - News & announcements

    Norse continues to make good progress on its business plan to have its UK airline, Norse Atlantic UK, become a significant part of its operations, with the launch of ticket sales to two new destinations expected this week. The company is ramping up towards the summer 2023 season including having over half of its operational fleet based at London Gatwick. Forward bookings have been good, helped by a successful marketing campaign towards the end of December and through January.   During January, Norse Atlantic Airways recorded an aggregate load factor for the month of 52 per cent, including charter operations. Norse Atlantic Airways operated a total 229 flights. 74 per cent of operated flights arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time. The company operated 98 per cent of scheduled flights, four cancellations occurred due to general strike action by the Ver.di union at Berlin airport involving airport staff in ground services and aviation security, the strikes were not connected to the airline or its employees. Norse Atlantic carried 35,150 passengers in January.   Building on the growing reputation of Norse Atlantic Airways as a dependable and reliable charter and ACMI operator, Norse completed 15 charter flights during the month of January.   During the month Norse Atlantic Airways announced the launch of ticket sales between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and New York JFK. The new route will become the fifth European destination served by Norse from JFK, the daily service will begin operations on 19th June 2023.   Further, the company is pleased to announce that this week two new US destinations served from London Gatwick will be launched for sale, with operations commencing during the summer 2023 programme. These flights will be operated by the company’s UK airline (AOC), Norse Atlantic UK. The beginning of operations of Norse Atlantic UK marks a milestone for the company and follows extensive support on both sides of the Atlantic from the Association of Flight Attendants, Cockpit Association of Norway, British Airline Pilots Association and Unite unions, airports, business leaders, government leaders and many others. Further destinations from London Gatwick to the US for the summer 2023 schedule will be revealed by the end of February and will lead to a substantial increase of the airline’s presence in the UK.   To date Norse Atlantic Airways is performing on track or above the business plan communicated during the Private Placement in November 2022. As previously communicated, the company will carry out a repair offering to those shareholders eligible as at 24 November 2022. The repair offering is expected to be done during the spring once the required prospectus is approved by the Norwegian Financial Services Authority.   Key traffic figures for January are attached.   “Two targeted sales campaigns in January generated encouraging forward bookings and show that demand for travel across the Atlantic remains strong. We expect a strong summer season across our network and especially in the UK as the investment that we have made in that market reaches its full potential.   The recent announcement that Charles Duncan has joined Norse Atlantic as President represents an important strengthening of our commercial strategy going forward, I look forward to working closely with Charles as we fulfil our target of reaching profitability by year end,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.
