The 2024 ship visits programme take place in Southampton between April and October with travel agents spending time on board P&O Cruises newest ships, Arvia and Iona, as well as Britannia, Ventura, Aurora and Arcadia. There will also be a selection of regional visits and details will be announced in due course. During the visits agents will take a tour of the cabins, entertainment venues and dining, as well as a three- course meal in one of the restaurants. In addition, for the first time ever, travel agents will receive 20 Shine points for attending the full day, a soft drinks voucher, complimentary Wi-Fi and free time onboard after lunch. In winter 2025/2026, P&O Cruises will return to 12 ports for the first time in five or more years. These include Los Angeles, Melbourne, Bali, as well as Bodø in Norway and Dunedin in New Zealand. These P&O Cruises holidays will also include more extended stays in port to delve deeper into the destination. Cruises booked by December 4, 2023 will include a 10% introductory saving on applicable winter 2025/26 Select Price holidays. There is also a 10% deposit offer on applicable Select Price or Early Saver holidays departing between October 2025 and March 2026. In addition, there is a 5% Peninsular Club saving for members of P&O Cruises loyalty programme. New Cunard president Katie McAlister, who joins in August, will report to Ludlow. The leadership change sees Sture Myrmell leave the business. Carnival CEO Josh Weinstein said: “Paul’s deep expertise, coupled with proven leadership make him the clear choice.” Weinstein added: “I would also like to thank Sture for 30 years of dedicated service. We wish him well.” Ludlow’s expanded role is effective from June 1, 2023. “Next year will be a momentous one for Cunard with the arrival of our new ship and our fourth Queen,” Ludlow said.
