This is Sabre Hospitality’s first deployment of Generative AI.
It is powered by new content from inputs such as text, images, and code.
Sabre says Concierge.AI provides detailed, accurate responses to specific customer queries.
Initially, SynXis Concierge.AI is being used by Sabre’s Customer Care and Delivery (CCD) team to enhance customer service delivery.
The entire CCD team has access to Concierge.AI, ready to handle various customer interactions including questions, requests, and problem resolution.
“SynXis Concierge.AI will significantly elevate the customer service experience by providing swift and accurate resolutions,” said Scott Wilson, President, Sabre Hospitality.
Sabre Hospitality plans to integrate SynXis Concierge.AI into the Community Portal to enhance self-service capabilities.
Sabre is also exploring its application in existing products.
“Generative AI represents a monumental leap in technology for the hospitality industry," said Amy Read, VP of Innovation at Sabre Hospitality.
"With SynXis Concierge.AI, we are unlocking new opportunities for driving operational efficiency and personalising the guest experience.”
Sabre says it has the data and connectivity to maximise Generative AI’s potential.

Sabre Upgrade IQ helps airlines generate incremental revenue by optimizing the available inventory in their premium cabins. With Upgrade IQ, airlines can give travellers the opportunity to bid for an airline upgrade seat at any stage during the pre-travel timeframe. This includes throughout the booking flow, at check-in, in the airline's mobile app or via email. Using machine-learning models powered by Sabre Travel AI, it dynamically prices upgrade offers, recommending the minimum and maximum proposed bid values along with the starting price for the bid. During beta testing, Upgrade IQ delivered up to 20% uplift in incremental revenue by filling empty seats in premium cabins. Sabre has integrated with Hopper's platform to create a streamlined customer experience. The new Sabre solution incorporates Hopper's advanced bidding platform in multiple languages and in-real time. "By collaborating with Google and Hopper, we have delivered a modern retailing solution to help airlines better manage seat upgrades," said Garry Wiseman, Chief Product Officer, Sabre Travel Solutions. Lodging AI is designed to help travel agencies improve hotel attachment rates and create additional revenue opportunities. It provides travelers with more personalized lodging options, Sabre says. Using its machine learning models, the new service analyzes the property attributes, customer trip segmentation, and traveler and agency preferences. This then generates custom lodging options with more likelihood they will be booked, the company says. Lodging AI brings more personalized results to enable agents to be more efficient in their workflows," said Sabre Chief Product Officer, Garry Wiseman. The first two micro-services of Lodging AI are now available, with others expected to be added. These are Alternate Properties, which presents up to 20 relevant options with similar characteristics to the original request The Cross-sell service identifies relevant air bookings or itineraries without lodging attached and presents suitable lodging options to complete the trip. It is available via Content Services for Lodging APIs and Sabre Red 360. It was created by Sabre utilizing Google tech as part of the two companies' 10-year strategic partnership. -
