Launching in 1996, we started with just three aircraft, 250 employees and five destinations. Since then, we’ve grown to more than 200 aircraft, 15,000 employees and fly to more than 100 destinations in 26 countries. We’re a proudly Canadian airline based in Calgary, Alberta that has provided safe, friendly and affordable air travel since our first flight.
WestJet offers direct flights to Canada from seven European destinations. Once in Canada, guests can easily connect to other destinations in our network in Canada and the U.S.
