The hotel also recently unveiled six new culinary destinations within the new Canteen Food Hall There is 220,000 square feet of newly renovated meetings and convention space, a revamped pool district with four pools catering to both adults and families, and more than 500 new slot machines and 30 table games on the resort’s casino floor. Other highlights from the resort’s phase one renovation include the openings of: Lapa Lounge, a sophisticated cocktail destination inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Lapa neighborhood, and Luckley Tavern & Grill, a “come as you are” casual dining destination. Phase two of the resort’s renovation will focus on completely redesigning and modernizing the Masquerade Tower guestrooms and public spaces. “Rio’s Destination by Hyatt brand affiliation marks an exciting new chapter for our resort through our progressive evolution,” said Patrick Miller, President and CEO of Rio Hotel & Casino. Rio participates in the World of Hyatt rewards program, allowing members to earn and redeem points for eligible stays and enjoy waived resort fees on Free Night Awards. After the hotel acquisition transaction, me and all hotels, which is currently a nested brand within Hyatt’s JdV by Hyatt brand, will become a standalone brand within Hyatt’s portfolio. Since launching in 2016 as Lindner’s urban lifestyle sister brand, the me and all hotels portfolio has grown to six hotels and 1,000+ rooms in city locations across Germany.
