This week, the Globus family of brands – consisting of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms – announced that it will extend its pre-trip Health & Safety Protocols, including requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to join any vacation in its portfolio, for travel through March 2022.
“The health and safety of our travelers is our No. 1 priority,” said Scott Nisbet, CEO of the Globus family of brands. “As part of the Globus family of brands’ commitment to ensuring sustainable, responsible travel across the globe, we are extending our requirement for travelers to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination into 2022. By making this announcement now, we’re giving our guests time to plan accordingly, with the assurance to travel more freely in each destination. Our previous decision to require proof of vaccination for 2021 travel was very well-received.”
Moving forward, the Globus family of brands will advise all travelers of vaccine implications or changes with advance notice. For the current policy – in place through March 2022 – all Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms travelers need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, completed at least 14-days prior to embarkation.
The Globus family of brands accepts vaccines authorized or approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC) or an official government body.
