Celebrity Edge® Returns For A Second Season Of Elevated Cruising Down Under
With its signature outward facing design, the transformational Edge Series® ship will bring guests closer to the natural beauty of Australia and New Zealand
Celebrity Edge, Australia’s first cruise ship to be recommended by the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide, has returned today to the region for a much anticipated second season. Guests can look forward to 17 unmatched itineraries sailing from Sydney with Celebrity Edge calling on new ports this season across Samoa, Fiji, American Samoa and Tonga, making it easier than ever to experience an array of rich cultures and swim in some of the world’s most crystal-clear waters. From now until April 2025, guests will be transported to an impressive collection of 26 ports, showcasing the best of Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific – from iconic wine regions to world-class coral reefs.
Guests can indulge in the region’s natural beauty from the comfort of an Edge Series ship. The iconic Magic Carpet® – the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform at sea – offers a unique way to dine, drink and connect with the destination, or take in the dramatic landscapes of Dunedin, New Zealand or Australia’s East Coast from bed, as you wake up in Infinite Veranda® staterooms, which erase the boundaries between inside and outside.
“We’re thrilled Celebrity Edge will be returning to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific for a second season, providing guests an unmatched cruise experience designed to connect them closer to the destination,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Celebrity’s elevated vacation options are redefining travel, especially in this region where guests can enjoy the Edge Series difference.”
Joining Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Solstice® will also return Down Under for two turns departing from Sydney on 19th October 2024, travelling up to Asia, and 9th April 2025, transporting guests through Fiji and onto Hawaii.
