- easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course is very competitively priced starting from £89
- Experience flights take off from eight airports in May and June so customers across the UK can take to the skies fearlessly in time for the summer holidays
easyJet has announced additional Fearless Flyer courses are available to book now to help aerophobes take to the skies with confidence in 2025.
Eight courses will run from 10 May 2025 to 23 June 2025, with experience flights taking place at eight UK airports; Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, London Luton, London Gatwick and easyJet’s new base London Southend Airport for the first time, so customers have the choice of a location convenient to them.
easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course continues to be one of the best-priced aerophobia programmes in the UK, starting at £89 per person for the online-only course.
Since 2012, the programme has helped nearly 14,000 individuals, with a success rate of more than 95%, and the airline will excitingly celebrate its 200th course on Saturday 10 May 2025 with an experience flight taking off from London Gatwick Airport.
With one in six people estimated to be a nervous flyer, the course offers reassurance and winning techniques by senior easyJet pilots and phobia experts to help combat concerns around flying to help even the most ardent aerophobe to overcome their fear of flying.
easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course is divided into three main parts:
- A virtual ground course, where an easyJet captain explains the unfamiliar sounds and sensations customers feel onboard an aircraft during take off, landing and during times of turbulence. In addition, Lawrence Leyton, a leading expert in the psychology of fear, teaches a unique set of mind techniques to help manage nerves.
- A pre-flight one-hour ‘Meet the Team’ online Zoom session, where participants will be walked through the airport experience and what to expect. There will also be a Q&A session with the Fearless Flyer Team including an easyJet pilot, Lawrence Leyton and Course Director Mark Wein, who shares his tips and advice on how he overcame his own fear of flying many years ago.
- And lastly, a special one-hour experience flight from the course airport, where customers put their new skills to the test whilst listening to a live commentary of the flight from the Fearless Flyer team.

Mark Wein, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course Director, said:
“As someone who used to have a fear of flying, I understand only too well how restrictive this fear can be, but it really isn’t that difficult to overcome it. Often, it’s just a lack of knowledge or a fear of panic attacks that is the root cause of the issue, which is why the easyJet Fearless Flyer course is so successful.
“We’re really excited to reach our 200th course and it’s a testament to the easyJet pilots and Fearless Flyer team who have been committed to making this programme a success. I encourage anyone with any doubts about flying to book now and change your life.”
Richard Cox, who last flew 18 years ago, attended the Bristol course in March 2025 and said:
“All I can say is from start to finish it was all absolutely amazing, the online course is excellent, the zoom meeting was spot on and covered everything, meeting the team at the airport was brilliant there isn’t a part that I could even try to criticise or say could be changed. Every member of the team were brilliant, but I have to say Captain Kate was a credit to easyJet, and cabin crew member Annie on board had so much time for me. Meeting the Captain on board certainly put my mind at ease as I was able to put a face to who was in control. Mark’s breathing exercises on board were priceless. I could go on all day, so in a nutshell everyone and every aspect was outstanding, I can’t thank you all enough.”
