Eurail announces European Sleeper as the latest railway carrier to join their extensive European network.
From July 1st, travelers with a Eurail Pass can board European Sleeper trains between Brussels and Berlin with 8 stops along the way including Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Deventer.
“We are delighted to welcome European Sleeper amidst our carrier membership and look forward to a successful partnership. Together with our members, we believe in the importance of an interconnected and borderless Europe by rail, made possible with a Eurail and Interrail Pass. “– Carlo Boselli, Eurail CEO
“We are very happy to welcome Interrail and Eurail pass holders on board our night trains. European Sleeper is a typical train for Interrailers. We connect three European capitals, offer a wide range of comfort levels and (last but not least) we reintroduce the possibility to enjoy the summer breeze from an open window. Being a true European railway, we consider this partnership a great way to promote the most remarkable and responsible way to travel across Europe.” – Chris Engelsman, European Sleeper Co-founder.
Eurail has played a pivotal role in the resurgence of rail travel’s popularity in recent years, after launching their mobile Pass in 2020 and having a record-breaking year in 2022 with more than 980,000 travellers on the tracks.
This announcement comes at an opportune time, reinforcing the resurgence of sleeper trains and the role that rail plays as the future of sustainable travel in Europe.
From June 1st, travelers can include the latest night train on their rail adventure by booking a seat reservation directly via the European Sleeper website. Pass holders will be able to travel on European Sleeper trains starting July 1st.
By including a journey with European Sleeper in their itinerary, Pass holders can cover large distances, like Edinburgh to Berlin for example, and only use one of the travel days included in their Pass.
European Sleeper plans to expand its service yearly and aims to reach Dresden and Prague as early as spring 2024.
