Welsh also talked about the inaugural Destination Professionals Day, aimed at recognizing tourism professionals and attracting new talent. Looking ahead, he outlined upcoming events, including the CEO Forum in Savannah and a large conference in Chicago, focused on innovation, education, and networking within the tourism industry.
