As of October 27, KLM will expand its US network with new nonstop service between Portland, Oregon (PDX) and Amsterdam (AMS) when it takes over the route from partner Delta Air Lines. KLM will operate three weekly flights increasing to five weekly for the spring/summer season. The route will be operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner closely aligning with Delta’s current aircraft configuration with 30 World Business Class flat-beds, 21 seats in a dedicated Premium Comfort Class, and 224 in Economy Class including 48 Economy Comfort seats with extra legroom (equivalent to Delta Comfort+).
During Winter 2024/2025, the flights will operate on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday with the following schedule:
KL615 departs AMS 10:25 am/ arrives PDX 11:25 am
KL616 departs PDX 1:30 pm/ arrives AMS 7:55 am the next day
Beginning March 30 frequencies will increase with flights operating Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the following schedule:

KL616 departs PDX 1:30 pm/ arrives AMS 7:55 am the next day
