Romance Month in Antigua & Barbuda!

June is Romance Month at A&B

Antigua and Barbuda is one of the world’s most romantic destinations any time of the year. The sunsets are legendary; the sugary, blush-colored beaches ideal for walking hand-in-hand; and the hotels, resorts, and boutique villas are perfect for every type of couple.

But June is when dreams really do come true on A&B. Why? Because it’s Romance Month on the islands. So, if you’re looking to say “I do” aboard a yacht, want to plan the perfect honeymoon or babymoon, or simply want to surprise Dad with the Father’s Day vacation of a lifetime, A&B is the place to be in June.

But wait, it gets better.

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority put a cherry on the top of Romance Month with the introduction of “Love Lane,” a fast-track service for couples traveling to the islands in June. There’s nothing worse than waiting in line at immigration after an international flight, especially if that flight had you seated next to an unruly toddler, or worse, you were stuck in the middle seat next to two passengers who didn’t adhere to proper “armrest etiquette.” The “Love Lane” is a couples-only lane that gets you through immigration faster than a keelboat at regatta. All you need to do is pre-register.

Once you’re through the “Love Lane,” there’s no shortage of romantic things to do in Antigua and Barbuda. And let’s face it. After two years of locking down, office-sharing, Zoom-gathering, and Netflix date nights, we can all use a little more romance in our lives.

Maybe your fairytale holiday features the following:

A sunset dinner at Sheer Rocks, an attractive hotspot perched at the top of a rocky cliff in the center of Antigua’s gorgeous West Coast.

Holistic treatments at a world-class spa

Horseback riding on the beach

Cooking classes

Sailing and yacht charters, perhaps a day trip to the secluded beaches of Barbuda. Goat Point, Two-Foot Bay, and Palm Beach won’t disappoint.

Finally, nothing says romance like escaping the kids. Sure, we love them, but a little “adult time” goes a long way. A&B has countless romantic resorts with fantastic beaches, but if you’re shopping around for an Adult/Couple’s Only property, consider the following:

Hammock Cove

A new era of all-inclusive luxury, Hammock Cove Antigua features 42 villas with a focus on gastronomy, personalized service and uninterrupted luxury

Curtain Bluff

A luxury of two beaches

Hodges Bay

Hodges Bay Antigua, West Indies is a spectacular blend of earth sea and spirit

Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa

Two perfect worlds. One grand resort. All included.

And Tamarind Hills is offering a “Lovers Lane” special during Romance Month (June) – Free Upgrade from an Ocean View Suite to an Ocean View Suite with Jacuzzi (subject to availability) – Plus Discounted Couples Massages!
