Uncover the curious world of the London Transport Lost Property Office this Easter

Monday, Feb 21, 2022 0

During the Easter holidays (Saturday 2 to Monday 18 April) families can discover the wonderful and weird world of London Transport’s Lost Property Office as they follow a trail around the museum’s galleries to discover fun facts about objects past and present that have been lost and found on London’s Tube trains and buses.

Since the Lost Property Office first opened in 1933 it has become home to more than 15 million objects, from everyday hats, bags and toys to the unusual and extraordinary.

Visitors to the Museum can join children’s authors Emily Rand and Kate Wilkinson on selected dates as they read from their books inspired by these lost mementos.

You can get creative with Emily Rand as you make your own piece of lost property and get curious with Kate Wilkinson as you join her in search of a mysterious missing box.
