Heading away from the Aravis, just 10 minutes from Lake Annecy is the golf course in Giez. Le Golf des Alpes, in Giez, offers two golfing experiences with the Belvédère course, 18 holes, par 72, and the Castors, 9 holes, par 33. A natural setting on 75 hectares, in the heart of the Sources du lac d’Annecy between the Bauges and Aravis massifs and with an incredible view of 4810m Mont Blanc. Created in Haute Savoie in 1953 on the initiative of local personalities, the Golf du Lac d’Annecy course was designed by the architect Cecil BLANFORD, located in the Roc de Chère nature reserve, on the edge of Lake Annecy.
