A pop-up Air France restaurant during the summer in Marseille

Trying Business Class signature dishes without paying the price of a business class ticket? Air France is taking its signature onboard dining experience to Provence this summer with the third edition of its exclusive pop-up restaurant, opening at Marseille’s iconic Cercle des Nageurs from July 14 through August 9, 2026.

Following two successful editions in Paris at the Palais de Tokyo and Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, the airline is bringing its premium long-haul Business Class cuisine to southern France, offering guests the chance to enjoy the same meals served onboard its international flights while overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Designed to replicate the airline’s Business Class experience, the restaurant will feature menus created by some of France’s most celebrated culinary talents.

The main courses have been developed by Régis Marcon, the three-Michelin-starred chef behind Restaurant Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid and winner of the prestigious Bocuse d’Or distinction. Guests can choose from meat, poultry, seafood, or vegetarian dishes identical to those served in Air France’s long-haul Business cabin.

Menu highlights include duck lasagna with blackcurrant sauce, sautéed mushrooms and baby spinach, inspired by the Auvergne region, alongside a modern Mediterranean vegetable cake featuring ratatouille, basil, zucchini and celery.

Desserts are crafted by Nina Métayer, named the World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2023. Signature creations include a refreshing lemon and verbena dessert and a crunchy hazelnut and caramel cake, both currently featured onboard Air France’s long-haul flights.

The dining experience is complemented by Pommery Champagne, a curated selection of French wines chosen by Air France head sommelier Xavier Thuizat, France’s Best Sommelier 2022, and the airline’s signature Business Class cocktail, Quintessence. Created by renowned mixologist Matthias Giroud, the cocktail combines French ingredients with cognac for a smooth yet citrus-forward profile. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

Located on the terrace of the Cercle des Nageurs, the temporary restaurant has been designed in Air France’s signature navy blue, white and red color palette, with the airline’s historic winged seahorse emblem featured throughout the space.

Accommodating just 40 diners per evening, the venue aims to recreate the intimate atmosphere of an Air France lounge while offering panoramic sunset views across Marseille and the Mediterranean. Guests will also have access to complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, matching the connectivity currently being rolled out across the airline’s fleet, as well as an Air France Shopping boutique featuring branded travel accessories.

The pop-up restaurant operates every evening except Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with advance reservations required. Dinner is priced at €98 ($115) per person, including beverages.
