Carnival Cruise Line raises bottled water prices
Carnival Cruise Line has just hiked the cost of bottled water on ships.
A 12-pack of 16.9 fluid ounce bottles will now cost $11.95, while the 8-pack of 1.5-litre bottles is priced at and $24.95.
Single 1.5 litre bottles are $4.50.
It’s a big hike and represents a rise of as much as 141% in under two years.
Carnival Cruise Line last increased the 12-pack price to $9.95 in November 2022.
The cost is the same whether pre-purchased or bought during the cruise.
“Price did go up a bit recently with our bottled water because of inflation which I know many of you are facing on land as well,” Brand Ambassador John Heald said
Water onboard ships is potable in staterooms and at dispensers and is regulated by the CDC.
The cruise line banned guests from bringing their own bottled water several years ago.
