Mastercard has launched Priceless Africa, extending its global lifestyle platform, Priceless.com, to the continent and giving Mastercard cardholders access to exclusive travel experiences across nine African destinations.
The new offering features curated experiences in South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Mauritius, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe, showcasing the continent through its culture, wildlife, cuisine, and adventure.
The platform brings together activities across Mastercard’s core passion categories—culture and creativity, culinary, nature and wildlife, and adventure—while integrating secure payments and travel benefits into every stage of the journey.
The launch comes as Africa’s tourism industry continues its strong recovery. According to UN Tourism, the continent welcomed 81 million international visitors in 2025, an 8% increase from the previous year, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism regions.
Mastercard cardholders also have access to travel perks including hotel and airfare savings, airport lounge access, and discounts through selected booking platforms, car rental providers, and ride-hailing services.
“Africa is one of the most culturally diverse and creatively inspiring destinations in the world, and today’s travelers are looking for authentic moments rooted in local culture,” said Ahmed Abdel-Karim Hussein, Executive Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Communications for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Mastercard.
“With Priceless Africa, we’re opening the door to unforgettable experiences while ensuring Mastercard’s secure and seamless payment technology supports every step of the journey.“
The experiences span some of Africa’s most iconic attractions and hidden gems. Travelers can soar over Kenya’s Amboseli National Park in a sunrise hot-air balloon, enjoy a candlelit tour of Ghana’s Cape Coast Castle, trek to see mountain gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda, dine with Bedouins in Morocco’s Agafay Desert, hike Mauritius’ Le Morne Brabant before a traditional Creole lunch, sail Zanzibar’s Menai Bay aboard a dhow, track rhinos on foot in Zimbabwe’s Matobo Hills, join South Africa’s Kruger K9 anti-poaching team on patrol, or create a custom fashion piece with designers in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
The launch is supported by Mastercard’s “You Have To Be Here” campaign, which highlights Africa through storytelling, digital content, and travel inspiration. The campaign runs through December 2026 and aims to encourage more travelers to discover the continent’s diverse experiences.
Priceless Africa is now available on Priceless.com in select markets, with additional experiences and destinations scheduled to be added throughout 2026 as Mastercard expands the platform across Africa.
