Beaches Resorts is the Caribbean’s most-awarded luxury family all-inclusive vacation experience, where memories are created and made to last. With three spectacular locations in Turks & Caicos and Jamaica, Beaches Resorts is the ultimate beachfront getaway for every member of the family.

Sandals Dunn’s River Opening May 24, 2023

This month brings the highly anticipated opening of Sandals Dunn’s River on May 24, from first-of-its-kind suite designs, to exclusive restaurant concepts and bars and entirely new ways to experience Jamaica’s natural wonders. The resort, which was first added to Sandals’ all-inclusive portfolio in 1991, is returning as a better-than-ever experience with 260 thoughtfully constructed new rooms.

Sandals Dunn’s River will feature Beachfront Skypool Suites, which have stunning glass paneling to create the effect of an infinite shore. These cutting-edge rooms are Jamaica’s first SkyPool Suites and include a Tranquility Soaking Tub, personalized butler service and more. The first of its kind, the Coyaba Sky Rondoval Villas allow guests to soak up the sun in a standalone villa, with private soaking tubs, an oversized swim-up pool and an open-air terrace.  With 12 Global Gourmet restaurants, 10 of which are new to the brand, Sandals Dunn’s River will deliver an array of dishes that guests will savor until the last bite.

Sandals Royal Curaçao Opened June 2022

Debuting just last summer, Sandals Royal Curaçao is Sandals Resorts’ newest property and first venture into the Dutch Caribbean. Situated on 44 acres within the exclusive Santa Barbara private estate, the  resort offers 351 rooms and suites, including brand-first seaside bungalows. Top suites are equipped with 5-star butler service, as well as convertible MINI Coopers complimentary for guests to explore the island. The resort features eight gourmet restaurants, three seaside food trucks, and the brand’s first-ever offsite dining program Island Inclusive through which guests can dine at trendy local restaurants off property as part of the stay.

Sandals Halcyon Beach – Debuted New Suites May 2023

Sandals Halcyon Beach recently unveiled the addition of 5 new standalone Koko Rondoval Villas, a first for Halcyon, complete with a private patio, plunge pool and windows that span nearly the entire wall. In addition, 20 Joli Beachfront Suites built along the shore will offer a combination of rooms with walkout beach access and private pools, as well as second-story accommodations with balconies featuring Tranquility Soaking Tubs.

Beaches Negril – New Villas Debuting June 1, 2023

Next generation expansions are coming to Beaches’ beloved, flagship family resort, Beaches Negril. Nestled right on the sand and inspired by  Jamaica’s technicolor sunsets, six Firesky Reserve Villas will each offer four bedrooms spanning three stories, equipped with posh living areas, private pools, and direct access to a pristine stretch of beach.  On the opposite end of the resort and comprising six suites, the Eventide Penthouse Collection ranges from three to four bedrooms each with access to a rooftop terrace ideal for stargazing.

What’s New for Advisors

Unique Vacations Inc. (UVI), an affiliate of the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, has launched its transformed online Sandals Training Program, aimed at educating, empowering and growing their family of trusted travel advisors.

Sandals Foundation Updates

The Sandals Foundation, the not-for-profit philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International, launched a campaign titled Trees for Life, in honor of Earth Day on April 22. Guests across all Sandals and Beaches Resorts were invited to help plant more than 500 trees across the Caribbean in a single day. Further amplifying their mission, the resort brand accepted donations, with each $20 donation resulting in the planting and maintenance of one tree.

In June 2022,  the Sandals Foundation joined forces with the Netherlands’ AFC Ajax team to launch Future Goals a program that turns fishing nets sourced from the ocean and recycled plastic waste into soccer goals for children. Expanding opportunities for locals through the power of youth sports, particularly the beloved game known locally as football, the landmark partnership has so far succeeded in introducing soccer equipment at more than 40 schools across the island — with expansion plans underway to other Caribbean islands, including Jamaica.
