A-Rosa to restart European river cruising in June
A-Rosa has unveiled plans to resume European river cruising next month.
It will restart Douro, Rhine and Danube river itineraries by around mid-June and later in France at the end of June.
The line will allow international guests aboard.
Portugal has reopened as a green list destination allowing UK cruisers to enjoy a cruise holiday on the Douro river without quarantining.
Austria has also approved the restart of cruising on the Danube.
Elsewhere on the Danube, Slovakia and Hungary haven’t yet announced when cruising can restart.
Rhine cruises are expected to resume by mid-June under Germany’s current reopening framework plans.
France is on track to allow cruise operations from 30 June.
"It is really encouraging that tourism in Europe finally looks like it can return soon. We are busy adapting and updating our current protocols in line with the latest regulations in the countries we sail through," said Managing Director Jorg Eichler.
