A TMS Hot Job - Visit Britain Manager Australia and New Zealand

VisitBritain’s mission is to build the value of tourism to Britain by generating additional revenue throughout Britain and throughout the year by creating world-class destination brands and marketing campaigns.

VisitBritain also builds partnerships with, and provides insights to, other organisations that have a stake in British and English tourism.

Due to global restructure, TMS Asia Pacific is currently assisting VisitBritian in the recruitment of their Australia / New Zealand Manager. The successful applicant will be based in Sydney and will report into Hong Kong.

Key Duties:

** Responsibility across Australia and New Zealand (11 staff) for the full promotion of Britain in the local markets;

** Responsible for the Aust/NZ traffic in the UK

** Full Aust/NZ budget management

** Responsibility of Corporate Governance

** Work closely with marketing team to drive marketing activity – this includes everything from print media, sponsorships and joint ventures, to creation and distribution of marketing and materials

** Strategic planning / business plans

** Raising revenue from existing/new revenue streams

** Preparation and delivery of reports into regional head office

Key Requirements:

** Proven senior management capability

** Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking

** Exceptional & proven relationship building skills

** Strong communication and negotiation skills

** Ideally from a senior role within the travel industry or public sector

** Ability to liaise with government representatives

** Passion for the UK

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially savvy & confident individual who can be the face of this government body throughout the region.
