A4E welcomes decision to fast-track Digital Green Certificates
European airlines welcomed the decision to fast-track Digital Green Certificates. It will use an Urgent Procedure to get the scheme up and running as soon as possible.
It means the certificates could be operational by June.
"We fully welcome today’s positive vote by the European Parliament to expedite a decision on the Digital Green Certificates proposal. The ball is now in the court of the European Council to make this happen", said Thomas Reynaert, Managing Director of Airlines for Europe
