ABA’s top group travel cities range from New York to Branson
Cities offering music, history, culture, shopping and dining topped the list of the American Bus Association’s (ABA) Best and the Rest survey this year.
Washington, New York City and Branson were at the very top.
Other top destinations included Music City, USA, Nashville, Tenn., Chicago, Ill and Philadelphia. In Canada, the top cities included Niagara Falls, Ontario, Toronto, Montreal and Windsor.
Visitors are traveling in record numbers and are looking to explore new destinations they have never before visited, said Peter J. Pantuso, president and CEFO of the ABA.
“North American destinations have it all. Whether you’re looking for some of the best country music and history in Nashville, an educational experience in Philadelphia…or shopping, theater and dining in Chicago,” he said. “There is something for everyone.”
Other popular sites included the European flavor of Canadian cities, he added.
Philadelphia and Birmingham, Alabama’s were rated the CVB’s working hardest to please group travelers.
The most popular group activities?
