Aberdeen airport re-opens with shorter runway
Aberdeen airport closed yesterday after a hole appeared in the runway.
Some flights were diverted while repairs were carried out to the damage, believed to have been caused by heavy rain.
The airport re-opened at 7am this morning but with a temporarily shorter runway.
The airport tweeted: "Arriving & departing flights operating with temporarily reduced runway. Contact your airline for specific flight info. More info to follow."
It also warned travellers to take care due to dangerous road conditions.
