Newcastle-based ABTA member Courtney Airsavers has become the latest travel company to fall victim of the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions.
The company, which held ABTA numbers F6492 and W4943, ceased trading on 5 November.
A recorded message on the company’s answerphone said: "Unfortunately, the business has been materially affected by Covid and current restrictions on travel and as a result of this uncertainty, we have made the decision to close the business."
ABTA said: "The majority of holidays sold by Courtney Airsavers Ltd were sold as an agent for other tour operators. Courtney Airsavers Ltd also sold some ATOL protected flight-inclusive packages and flight only arrangements."

People who have booked a package provided by another tour operator have been told to contact the operator. Anyone who made a booking with flights which was not with another operator should contact the CAA, while flight-only customers have been told to contact their airline.
