ABTA urges industry to respond to energy support review
ABTA is urging members and the industry in general to complete a survey which is being carried out by the Government as part of its review on energy bill support.
In September, the Government announced support will be provided to businesses up until the end of March 2023, to help deal with the rising cost of energy bills.
It also said it will carry out a review to determine which businesses may be eligible for additional help.
This survey is part of that review.
The review considers the effectiveness of the scheme, which groups remain particularly exposed to energy price rises, taking into account those least able to reduce energy usage or increase energy efficiency.
Travel companies can complete the survey here, the deadline for responses is 23:55 on Monday 24th October.
Each business should only put in one response.
It is important that respondents identify their businesses as being in the travel industry.
Luke Petherbridge, Director of Public Affairs at ABTA said:” The Government wants to hear directly from businesses. It is really important that the industry responds to the survey, so that the Government understands the challenges facing the sector.”
