Advantage says it pays to be a member
Advantage Travel Partnership is sending out ‘benefit statements’ to its agencies to inform them how much being a member is worth.
The consortium claims the average member get benefits worth £23,000 a year. It calculated enhanced commissions, marketing activity, savings (such as on technology), business consultancy services and staff development courses to reach the figure.
The exact benefit values vary depending on whether the member participates in marketing campaigns, use of the Advantage Travel Gateway booking tool, how many staff they send to events or courses and whether they use the business travel technology.
